We use the principles of 'No-Dig' within our school garden. There are many advantages of 'No-Dig' principles including:

It is very environmentally friendly

Crops do not need to be rotated

Weed growth is greatly reduced

More produce is grown from smaller areas (inter-planting/multi-sowing etc)

Crops do not need to be fed - we feed the soil, not the plants
