The National Tutoring Programme Information

 The National Tutoring Programme offered highly tailored tuition support for pupils, to help those whose education had been most impacted by the pandemic.

At Bottesford Junior School we chose the School-led aspect of the National Tutoring Programme as the route to ensuring those pupils who were not making the required progress (as per their flight path trajectory) as a direct result of the national lockdown, received extra tuition.

All tuition was delivered by qualified teaching staff who were already known to our pupils and staff.  The tuition sessions were delivered during the school day as experience and research had shown us that this was the most effective way of ensuring pupil participation.
