I’m Phil Brown, the Headteacher of Bottesford Junior School.

Welcome to our website. I hope you like it and enjoy browsing the different sections. I also hope that you will be able to gain a really good insight into what makes our school such a special place – whether you are a prospective parent or a long-standing one.

A good school website has to cover quite a few bases. It strives to keep you in touch with the daily life of the school; act as a provider of key information (such as our key policies, dates of events, school rules etc); celebrates our achievements as well as allowing parents and children to interact with the school in a variety of different ways.

Parents are always welcome in school and the important contribution they make to school life is valued, as we believe truly effective education comes from a partnership between teachers, children and parents.

We genuinely believe in an open-door policy – please do put that to the test and come and talk to me about any concerns you have about your child or their school life.
